Accelerated Leader

The Accelerated Leader Programme has been designed to support aspiring school leaders in the 5 areas identified in the National Standards:

  • Leading the Organisation
  • Leading Teaching and Learning
  • Leading in the Community
  • Leading People
  • Leading strategically

The programme combines the use of a 360° assessment tool, group workshop activities and one-to-one coaching to maximise the potential for leadership development, impacting upon individuals, leadership teams and schools.

Who is this for: 

This programme is ideally suited to those who aspire to senior roles in schools of all types.

What are the benefits: 

A picture is created for the participant, which allows them to understand where their natural leadership strengths lie and how to go about developing these areas into outstanding capability. The workshops and coaching sessions also highlight where any improvements can be made. Team reports can be generated to help maximise the impact upon leadership teams and whole school staff and pupils.

How is it delivered: 
  • Step 1: Complete an online questionnaire, along with chosen colleagues, to produce a 360° individual diagnostic report
  • Step 2: Attend a group workshop (half or whole day) to explore key areas of school leadership and to receive and reflect on the individual report
  • Step 3: Receive individual coaching session based on outcomes of the report
  • Step 4: Consider the benefits of further coaching support
What does it cost: 

For in-house school based delivery which includes:

  • Activities and resources to develop understanding of school leadership and leadership skills
  • Personal review and evaluation of individual report and profile
  • One-to-one coaching session per leader, approximately 30-45 minutes

The cost is £899 plus VAT per group (group size 3-8) or £1,499 plus VAT per group (group size 9-14) plus £85 plus VAT per leader for:

  • Dendrite registration - enabling participant and their chosen respondents to access and complete the accelerated learner 360° diagnostic tool, prior to group workshop
  • One year Dendrite license that entitles participants to access other Balance Consortium benefits e.g. online teaching and learning resources
  • Personal, professionally bound, 20 page individual and 20 page team report (received at group workshop)
  • Accelerated Leader workbook (received at group workshop)

For external offsite delivery which includes:

  • Activities and resources to develop understanding of school leadership and leadership skills
  • Personal review and evaluation of individual report and profile
  • One-to-one coaching session per leader, approximately 30-45  minutes

Whole  day  (9.00-3.30) inclusive of lunch - £179 plus VAT per person, plus £85 plus VAT per leader for:

  • Dendrite registration - enabling participant and their chosen respondents to access and complete the accelerated learner 360° diagnostic tool, prior to group workshop
  • One year Dendrite license that entitles participants to access other Balance Consortium benefits e.g. online teaching and learning resources
  • Personal, professionally bound, 20 page individual and 20 page team report (received at group workshop)
  • Accelerated Leader workbook (received at group workshop)
