Leadership Pathways

Leadership Pathways (LP) is a modularised leadership programme from The National College.

Who is this for: 

Leadership Pathways is designed to benefit existing senior leaders and those aspiring to senior leadership posts. The programme is ideal for assistant headteachers and new deputy headteachers who aspire to do NPQH. The National College will give priority for its subsidised places to people who are in their SLT, work closely with their SLT or who can be seconded to their SLT for the period of the programme.

Nationally:

  • The ability to build the internal leadership capacity of schools and the succession building of future school leaders
  • A flexible, renewable programme which can be responsive to current needs and the needs of the future education agendas
How is it delivered: 

The programme includes a blend of 5 face to face days (3 core days, 2 skills days), online units and school coach-based components. It is customised to each participant's own learning needs and to their school's particular context.
