Who is Leadership Pathways for?
This programme is aimed at established school teachers from primary, secondary or special schools with three or more years leadership experience in middle or senior leadership roles. Although not exclusively for staff are aiming for headship, Leadership Pathways is positioned between Leading from the Middle (LfTM) and and the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) development stage (note from September 2009, all applicants must have gained NPQH before they will be eligible to be interviewed for a headship position). This programme is suitable for teachers:
- who are currently based in school
- who have the support of senior school leaders to undertake the programme (see also the NCSL document expectations of school leaders document for more details)
- who are interested in learning at this level and looking for open access to development activities
The Leadership Pathways programme is for you if you are currently in one of the following roles:
