Who is Leadership Pathways for?

This programme is aimed at established school teachers from primary, secondary or special schools with three or more years leadership experience in middle or senior leadership roles. Although not exclusively for staff are aiming for headship, Leadership Pathways is positioned between Leading from the Middle (LfTM) and and the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) development stage (note from September 2009, all applicants must have gained NPQH before they will be eligible to be interviewed for a headship position). This programme is suitable for teachers:

The Leadership Pathways programme is for you if you are currently in one of the following roles:

Associate Assistant Head Head of Subject ICT Co-ordinator
Head of Year Deputy/Assistant Head of Subject SENCO
Deputy/Assistant Head of Year Senior Leader Subject Co-ordinator
KS Manager Advanced Skills Teacher Gifted and Talented Co-ordinator
After School Hours Study Co-ordinator Year Co-ordinator for PHSE, Citizenship,
Health Education (Cross Curricular responsibilities)
Foundation Stage Co-ordinator
Children’s Centre Learning Leader Head of Nursery Early Years Co-ordinator
Teaching Assistants at Level 4 HLTA (with significant management responsibility) Bursar
