Exceptional Schools Award

The Exceptional Schools Award exemplifies the excellence and uniqueness of outstanding schools, including the quality and consistency of teaching that Ofsted now expects. The quality standard is based on the attributes and practice of the best schools nationally. It includes a 360 online survey of stakeholders that provides a unique insight into the effectiveness of the school’s provision and informs school improvement planning and a timeline for achieving the Award.

Headteacher Performance Management

Best Practice Network provides support for the whole process of headteacher performance management. Only fully accredited and experienced School Improvement Advisers from Best Practice Network undertake this work.

Preparing for Ofsted

Best Practice Network provides support for the whole process of inspection and review. Only fully accredited and experienced School Improvement Advisers with Ofsted qualifications and experience undertake this work.

School Improvement Solutions (SIS)

A new approach to school improvement focusing on finding solutions to meet the needs of school leaders in a rapidly changing educational landscape.

Our School Improvement Solutions team is a network of professionals - serving headteachers and school leaders, school improvement partners, inspectors and consultants - whose work is quality assured and moderated. They are supported by regular training, excellent technical support and a nationally recognised and proven project management and administrative team.

Stronger Governance

Best Practice Network provides support that strengthens governance. We make extensive use of the Stronger Governance systems programme which exemplifies 'what good looks like' and enables governing bodies to become outstanding.
