BPN Management Skillset
Many organisations are struggling to enable real learning (not just training) amongst all their staff in a way that is accessible, engaging, effective and aligned.
BPN have worked with e-learning specialists to design and develop a unique suite of Extended Learning™ programmes that deliver an enjoyable
and engaging learning experience that lines up with
organisational learning needs.
Delivering training in this way creates a completely different route to learning which can be more time effective, more cost effective and more geographically scalable. E-learning can consist of self contained elements or be integrated into development programmes and modules can be accessed worldwide at any time through the internet.
However, we do not prescribe a pure e-learning solution for all development needs. We take our experience in delivering highly effective training programmes and blend it with our e-learning provision, thus enhancing the learning experience and ensuring that time spent with a facilitator is interactive and feedback-rich for everyone, whilst reducing off-site training costs.
These programmes can help you to develop a real learning experience within your
organisation. Extended Learning™ follows some basic
principles:
- E-Learning is not an inferior option, it must
contain high quality material that is accessible,
challenging and engaging and that makes the learner
choose to come back for more
- E-Learning is not a sticking plaster solution, it
needs to be built around a solid competency framework
and deliver against learning objectives to provide
real, structured, development
- E-Learning is not the same for everyone, so
the-learning must be designed to make the most of
individuals’ unique-learning needs and information
acquisition preferences.
Typical benefits for clients using e-learning include:
- Greater participant engagement as all learners have the opportunity to work at their own pace in a style that suits them
- More targeted learning as participants need only undertake modules that meet their personal development needs
- Increased return on investment with reduced travel and accommodation costs
- Quicker upskilling as all staff can participate, rather than waiting for the next scheduled training programme
- Increased participant satisfaction as learning can fit more flexibly with their lives, requiring no travel or overnight stays
- More effective use of trainer and facilitator time as skills input can take place before training programmes
For the standalone modules, an annual licence for up to 12 users costs £960 (effectively £80 per user). For 25 users the cost would be £1,875 and for 100 users £5,500.
