The work of school support staff is so important in securing the efficient and effective use of all school resources and meeting the objectives of Every Child Matters.
There are an estimated 500,000 support staff working in schools in a wide variety of roles. This is an increase of 129% in the last 10 years and still growing.
Best Practice Network work with local authorities and directly with schools to provide accredited training programmes to support the changing needs of the school workforce and contribute to school improvement.

Our training programmes are about improving the performance, confidence and skills of support staff in schools
