NCSL Working together for success (WTfS)

The programme:

I feel much more positive about my work and I feel part of the SLT, more valued and respected.

Process

Working Together for Success can be structured over either a term-and-a-half, or two terms, and comprises:

A school's senior leadership team (SLT) members can individually attend the first two residential days at different times, but the whole SLT must be together for the remainder of the programme.

We feel we are all problem owners, rather than it's the Head's problem and us trying to solve it.

Best Practice Network continue to seek out and share best practice by developing a range of innovative programmes tailored to suit the specific needs of local authorities, school leaders and their teams. For example, Improving Team Performance has been co-developed with HOLT (a leading national provider of experiential learning for team and leadership development) and Changing Organisations draws on the the unique style of working below the surface of the Tavistock Consultancy Service (TCS).

In addition to WTfS, we are able to offer a range of National College of School Leadership programmes (including DCSI and Multi-agency team development) and, as an accredited centre for the Institute of Leadership and Management, the ILM Coaching and Mentoring awards.
