Painsley Teaching School Alliance consists of a wide range of partners, including primary schools, secondary schools, special schools and two universities. We work collaboratively with schools in Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Derbyshire, sharing our outstanding practice, providing training and CPD, driving school improvement and training new teachers and as a NQT Appropriate body.

It was designated as a national Teaching School in March 2014 and is the North Mids Maths Hub.  In addition, it is the Accelerate Coaching Hub for teachers in years 2 – 7 of their career, a DfE-accredited Pupil Premium Reviewer training centre and the West Midlands lead for WliE.
