Leaders Apprenticeship and NPQ Pathway

The Leaders Apprenticeship  with NPQSL incorporates both the Level 5 Departmental/Operations Manager apprenticeship standard and the DfE-accredited leadership qualification NPQSL.

From September 2021, we expect to offer NPQEL as a similar combined apprenticeship standard and NPQ joint award. Please contact us for details.

The Leaders Apprenticeship with NPQSL has been designed for aspiring or recently appointed senior leaders looking to improve their leadership capability.

Our dual award is for those who are or are aspiring to become, a senior leader with cross-school responsibilities such as an experienced middle leader, a deputy headteacher, a SEN coordinator, an assistant headteacher, or other senior staff members.

We are excited to announce that we are developing a combined apprenticeship standard + NPQEL joint award. This apprenticeship will be open to colleagues working across a multi-school group, such as a MAT or diocese, and funded through the Apprenticeship Levy.

Early Years Apprenticeships

Early Years Educators work with and care for children from birth to 5 years. They play a massive role in supporting children to have the best start to their education. Early Years Educator apprentices learn how to:

      • Support and promote children’s early education and development
      • Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school
      • Develop an effective and informed practice
      • Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
An Early Years Practitioner (EYP) works in a range of early years settings delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) including; full daycare, children’s centres, playgroups, pre-schools, nursery schools, reception classes, home-based provision.

The Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYE) Apprenticeship is ideal for someone looking to pursue a career as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Teaching Assistant, Nursery Nurse, Supervisor, or Child Minder.
It is suitable for either someone already working in or someone looking for a career in, an early years childcare and education setting.
