Who is the Webinar for?
This webinar is perfect for anyone finishing their GCSEs or A levels and exploring their career options with university alternatives. It is ideal for those who are interested in working with babies and young children. If you have a caring nature, patience, and the motivation to make a positive difference in children’s lives, this session will help you see how a career in Early Years education could be the right path for you.
What to expect in the Webinar
In this live webinar, you’ll get a real understanding of what it’s like to work in a nursery or early years setting and how you can start a career with no experience. You'll also learn about the clear progression path from our entry-level apprenticeships all the way to leadership roles and even degree-level qualifications.
We’ll cover:
- An introduction to Early Years childcare and why it’s so rewarding
- How apprenticeships work – training, assessment, and off-the-job training
- Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeship options and how to choose the right one for you
- Your career pathway – where these qualifications can take you
- How to apply and the support available from Best Practice Network
- There will also be a live Q&A session at the end to answer all your questions

Early Years Career Pathway
A career in Early Years offers an exciting way to start working straight after your GCSEs or A levels while building your future.
Through fully funded apprenticeship programmes, you can train without paying any tuition fees. You’ll earn a salary while you learn on the job, gaining practical skills and experience from day one. At the same time, you’ll work towards a nationally recognised qualification that can open doors across the childcare education sector.
Most importantly, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference by helping to shape young minds, supporting children’s learning, and setting them up for the best possible start in life.
