Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship 

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a recognised childcare qualification while earning a wage and building valuable hands-on experience in a supportive nursery setting.

About the Role

As an Early Years Apprentice, you will:

• Support children's learning and development through play and planned activities
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, outdoor play, and sleep routines
• Provide personal care, including nappy changing and toileting support
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
• Observe children's development and contribute to learning records
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Support activities that encourage children's confidence, independence, and social skills
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times

About the Apprenticeship

You will work towards an Early Years qualification while gaining practical experience in the nursery.

Training includes:

• Online learning and coursework
• Virtual classrooms and webinars
• One-to-one support from a dedicated tutor
• Workplace observations and reviews
• Dedicated training time within working hours

No college attendance is required, as all training is delivered through a blended learning approach.

Salary & Hours

•  £8.00 per hour for Level 2/3 apprentices for the first 12 months, National Minimum Wage thereafter

• Full-time
• Monday to Friday
• 40 hours per week with varied shifts from 7:30am to 6:30pm.
