Your school is not eligible for general scholarship funding

General NPQ scholarship funding is not available for your school because it is not one of the 50% of schools with the highest proportion of students who attract pupil premium funding.

Funding available through the Apprenticeship Levy

If you would like to complete NPQSL, NPQH or NPQEL as part of a Leader Apprenticeship then full funding is available through your school's Apprenticeship Levy. The Leader Apprenticeships with NPQs offer extended leadership training and more coaching than a regular NPQ. The three programmes available are:

• School Leader Programme with NPQSL
  
  • Designed for aspiring or recently appointed senior leaders
  • Combines the NPQSL and Level 5 Operations Manager Standard
• Headteacher Programme with NPQH
  • Designed for aspiring or recently appointed headteachers
  • Combines the NPQH and Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship
  • Master's Fast-Track available: Complete a 60-credit dissertation module online (supported by the University of Chester) for £3,210, leading to a full MA in Educational Leadership
• Executive Leader Programme with NPQEL
  • Designed for aspiring or recently appointed executive leaders with 3 years experience as a headteacher
  • Combines the NPQEL and Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship
  • Master's Fast-Track available: Complete a 60-credit dissertation module online (supported by the University of Chester) for £3,210, leading to a full MA in Educational Leadership

Limited NPQ funding 

Limited scholarship funding is available for teachers and leaders in publicly funded schools (including maintained nursery schools) and 16 to 19 educational settings in England for the following NPQs:

• NPQ for Headship
• NPQ for SENCOs
