School staff and wellbeing champion Level 3

  Apprentice Level: Level 3 Advanced     Course duration: 20 months     Funding value: £7,000

Role profile:

This course is ideal for staff members looking to improve their skills in providing support and feedback through the effective use of coaching and counselling to support all staff, students, their families and the local community. By being on this programme, your member of staff will create a wellbeing strategy leading to a wellbeing-focused culture within your workforce.

Typical job roles:

Care or service navigator, Community connector, Community health champion, Health trainer, Live well coach, Social prescribing link worker.


Business Administrator Level 3

  Apprentice Level: Level 3 Advanced     Course duration: 16 months     Funding value: £5,000

Role profile:

The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving administrative services.
Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.

Typical job roles:

Secretaries/Personal Assistants, Data Administrators, HR Assistants, Team Administrator, Office Administrators.


HR Support Level 3

  Apprentice Level: Level 3 Advanced     Course duration: 20 months     Funding value: £4,500

Role profile:

They will typically be taking ownership for providing advice to managers on a wide range of HR issues using company policy and current law,
giving guidance that is compliant and where errors could expose the organisation to employment tribunals or legal risk.

Human Resources Assistant/Administrator, Resource Planning Analyst, HR Advisor, HR Director.


Library and Information Services Assistant Level 3

  Apprentice Level: Level 3 Advanced     Course duration: 20 months     Funding value: £6,000

Role profile:

LIAS Assistants support society through anticipating, determining, stimulating and satisfying the needs of existing and potential users for access to information in an ethical and fair or appropriate manner.

Typical job roles:

Librarian, Archive Assistant, Archive Officer.


Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2

  Apprentice Level: Level 2 Intermediate    Course duration: 17 months     Funding value: £6,000

Role profile:

An Accounts or Finance Assistant is an integral part of the team responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function within a business. The Accounts or Finance Assistant is responsible for assisting the team of accountants with junior accounting duties.

Accounts or Finance Assistant, Cashier Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger Clerk, Sales Ledger Clerk.


Assistant Accountant Level 3

  Apprentice Level: Level 3 Advanced     Course duration: 20 months     Funding value: £12,000

Role profile:

An Assistant Accountant provides support to internal and external customers and will work predominately either as an assistant accountant within practice or alternatively within the finance function of an organisation. Part of their role will involve assisting in the day-to-day financial activities such as data entry to month end management accounts and/or year-end financial statements.

Assistant Accountant, Trainee Accounting Technician, Accounts Clerk, Cashier Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger Clerk, Sales Ledger Clerk.


Professional Accounting Level 4

  Apprentice Level: Level 4 Higher     Course duration: 24 months     Funding value: £8,000

Role profile:

A Professional Accounting or Tax Technician will have responsibility for creating, and/or verifying and reviewing, accurate and timely financial information within the organisation in which they are employed or on behalf of another organisation.

Typical job roles:

Assistant Auditor, Assistant Management Accountant, Assistant Financial Accountant, Accounts Payable and Expenses Supervisor, Bookkeeper, Commercial Analyst.
