Level 5 Leadership Qualification case study - Gary Sheridan

Gary Sheridan is an experienced cover supervisor at a medium sized middle school in Worcestershire, where he has worked for almost two years. His core responsibility is Curriculum Enrichment which means he ensures the pupils are gaining a rounded experience within the school environment through extra-curricular activities such as school trips, sports clubs and other clubs such as chess and language clubs. An experienced rugby player with a contract at a professional club, Gary also runs the rugby club for boys and girls in all age groups.
TAs celebrate completion of Foundations of Outstanding Practice

Major changes to Ofsted inspections announced

Sir Michael Wilshaw, HMI Chief Inspector, has today announced major changes to the way Ofted inspections will be carried out. From September a new short inspection model will be used for good schools and further education institutions once every three years. Sir Michael said: “Make no mistake, this is a very different inspection model to what has gone before." Read the full press release on the GOV.UK website.

BPN Employees raise money for Charity

Early Years Director Maureen Lee recently completed the 14 mile Eye to Eye charity walk on March 22nd, which involved walking from Moorfields Eye hospital to the London Eye. Leadership Curriculum Programmes Manager Chris Ludlow has also recently partaken in a charitable event – The Big Sleep Out Bristol.
