Leadership Curriculum goes paperless from January

Leadership Curriculum (LC) has been working towards being completely paperless by January 2015. At a time when more and more importance is being placed on the need to reduce our carbon footprint thus minimising our use of paper and avoid incurring huge cost through printing and couriers. LC currently spends around £15,000 per intake across all three courses (NPQH, NPQSL and NPQML): which for two intakes is a massive £30,000 a year. Taking steps to become paperless will only bring about a positive change

I began my career as a class teacher in an Infant school in the London Borough of Hounslow. Since that time I have taught across the primary and early years age range, moving from London to the Sussex coast and then to Wiltshire. I’ve worked in schools and a variety of early years settings.

I am the regional manager for the Yorkshire and Humberside region. I have been working with the Best Practice Network Early Years team since 2008. My roles include team leadership, group tutoring, personal tutoring and assessment. I really enjoy supporting trainees in a wide variety of settings and roles. I lead on the eportfolio and elearning aspects of the programme.

It aims to help staff protect themselves online and to know the steps they should take to protect themselves, plus encourages heads to get tough against bulling.
